The woofer delivers bass that is articulate, textured and full of detail, while the horn-loaded tweeter brings a sense of scale, immediacy and effortless dynamics. Together, they create a loudspeaker capable of projecting vocals and instruments with remarkable presence, realism and tonal coherence.

Internally, carefully selected audiophile-grade crossover components ensure each driver performs to its full potential, resulting in a balanced, cohesive and highly musical sound.

Cabinet construction is equally considered. The enclosure is built from 18mm Norwegian pine and extensively braced to minimise resonance, providing a rigid and acoustically inert foundation for the drivers.

A recessed 6mm aluminium baffle adds further rigidity and contributes to the speaker’s precise and controlled performance.

Optional custom speaker stands are available at additional cost. Fabricated locally from repurposed carbon steel and based on the same proven design used for The Onken, they provide excellent stability while complementing the speakers’ aesthetic and overall design philosophy.

With their high sensitivity, the Le Cléac’h Bookshelf speakers are particularly well suited to low-powered valve amplification.
