At the heart of the design is a 1.4” titanium diaphragm compression driver coupled to a Le Cléac’h 450 horn. This combination produces an expansive and highly convincing soundstage, reproducing vocals and instruments with exceptional presence and clarity. Complementing the horn is a carefully tuned 12” woofer housed in a generously sized enclosure, delivering bass that is weighty, articulate, and well controlled.

Extensive development was devoted to the crossover network, with numerous iterations refined through rigorous listening and measurement.

The final design achieves a seamless integration between the drivers, resulting in a balanced and coherent frequency response. High-grade Solen polypropylene capacitors and carefully selected components allow each driver to perform at its full potential.

The cabinet is constructed from 18mm Norwegian pine and heavily braced throughout to minimise resonance and coloration. Powder-coated aluminium is used for both the speaker baffle cover and horn support structure, providing exceptional rigidity and a premium finish. The speakers are supported on handmade European oak blocks, which offer effective isolation while complementing the overall aesthetic.

With a nominal 8-ohm impedance and highly sensitive drive units, the Le Cléac’h 2-Way is ideally suited to low-power tube amplification while remaining compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.
