Particular attention has been given to the crossover and filter network, which utilises audiophile-grade polypropylene capacitors, ceramic resistors, and high-purity inductors. Carefully selected components ensure that the natural character of the driver is preserved, allowing it to perform at its full potential.

The cabinet is constructed from 18mm Norwegian pine and extensively reinforced throughout to minimise resonance and provide a rigid, acoustically inert enclosure.

Complementing the speakers are custom stands fabricated locally from repurposed carbon steel. Precision-formed from a single sheet, the stands feature a clean, flowing profile and a 2-degree incline, directing the drivers towards the optimum seated listening position. Together, the speaker and stand form a visually distinctive and acoustically refined package.

With exceptionally high sensitivity and very low distortion, even at elevated listening levels, The Onken is ideally suited to low-power tube amplification while remaining compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.
